5th International Specialized exhibition-tasting Wine Card

The 5th International Specialized Exhibition Wine Card will be held in November 09-12, 2010 at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. The Wine Card trade fair has been successfully held since 2006 and it traditionally causes high interest at visitors and became a genuine fiesta for the visitors and a perfect platform for specialists’ networking.

More than 300 companies from Spain, Italy, Russia (Dagestan, Kuban, Krasnodarsky krai), France, Chili and many other countries of the world participated in the exhibitions Wine Card. More than 50 000 visitors had an opportunity to taste about 1 500 grades of elite wine. Journalists provided press coverage of the event in 100 branch mass media.

Many companies engaged in wholesale and retail wine business such as Luding, Agora, Aroma, Muskat 12, Moselle M, Tsentral’naya Stantsia, AST International, Simpl, Vel’d 21, Legenda Kryma and many others became loyal Wine Card participants.

And the format of the exhibition Wine Card where habitual and boring exhibition stands are replaced with space of 4 200 sq m without partitions with numerous tasting tables with 4 grades of wine per each table fits the purpose to the best advantage.

The exposition is supplemented with stands dedicated to special equipment (cabinets for wine storage, refrigerators, etc.), wine related accessories (glasses, wine glasses, decanters, uncork items) and mineral water including elite grades of tea, coffee, tobacco products and pastry.

In authoritative opinion of wine judges a wine should be tasted if one wants to make a unique correct choice. Its taste and aroma differs depending on a batch and a year of the crop. Thus it is advisable to pay attention to the year of the crop when selecting a certain wine.

The format of the event offers a perfect opportunity to promote your corporate image as well as create greater market awareness throughout Russia, to establish new and strengthen existing contacts and to present full range of services and products. And the visitors will have an opportunity to taste various wines benefiting their future choice of wines for their home bars.

Negotiations with wine makers from Greece, Moldavia, Armenia and Italy about their participation in the 5th International Specialized Exhibition Wine Card are under way.

We are glad to inform that a new Moscow suburbs metro station Myakinino (Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line) with direct exit doors opposite from the exhibition pavilions to the Crocus City territory was opened in 2009. A new comfortable Aquarium hotel opening in the third pavilion of the fairgrounds also took place in 2009.
