Opening of the 4th International exhibition Wine Card 2009

The Fourth International Specialized Exhibition-tasting Wine Card 2009 was inaugurated November 18, 2009 in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. Wine Card is one of the own projects of the fairgrounds.

A wide assortment of wines, cognacs, whisky, drinks on the basis of honey and wine accessories is traditionally presented within the frames of the event. Moreover in 2009 the organizers have expanded an exposition and invited to participation manufacturers and exporters of elite grades of tea and coffee and also handmade chocolate items.

The following high ranking persons participated in the official opening ceremony of the exhibition: Arcady Zlotnikov, First Deputy Director Crocus Expo IEC, Valery Loginov, President of the Union of Wine-growers and Wine makers of Russia, Vera Beradze, the leading soloist of the Moscow concert organization and the honoured actress of Russia, Serdzhan Maslesha, a businessman from Serbia, Joseph Gril, Vice-president ZAO CROCUS INTERNATIONAL, and Rudolf Avanesov, Director of the exhibition Wine Card.

Addressing the representatives of mass media and visitors present at the ceremony, the speakers have noted a considerable role of the exhibition Wine Card in the formation of aesthetic taste of the population and have expressed gratitude to the organizers for the invitation to a genuine fiesta of the best samples of wine production and have unanimously expressed their confidence in the further development and growth of the exhibition project.

Mr. Avanesov has also told about the background of the exhibition and has addressed words of sincere gratitude to constant participants of Wine Card: Luding, Shato-East, Rus’import, Bravo-D, Fort, Interprodukt and other companies.

83 tasting tables with flavoured products from 65 companies-participants expected the visitors in the first hall of the first pavilion.
